In a crucial step toward a sustainable future, GEF 7 EV and NDC Tec organized a stakeholders meeting in Saint Lucia on Monday to jointly outline strategic plans for the impending introduction of electric vehicles (EVs) to the island.

Nissa Paul Alexander, Chief Technical Advisor for GEF, emphasized the importance of soliciting unfiltered insights from stakeholders. Ina De Visser, the program head of NDC Tec, stressed the long-term advantages of embracing electric vehicles. Moreover, she emphasized the pivotal role EVs play in combating climate change and minimizing the impact of environmental challenges such as sea-level rise, rainstorms, and winds.
